In other words, for the three divisions of government, God has given man the symbolic
value of 6. God has given man a six in Economics, a six in Worship, and a six in Law.
God made this determination after seeing imperfection in all mankind would do. That
is, not only has man fallen short (Romans 3:23), but God reveals this fallen condition
has corrupted man’s work; and God reveals this symbolically by assigning the value of
6 to the three main divisions of human government (Daniel 5:26).
Therefore, “the number of man” (Gk.) (Rev.13:18) is 666; and 666 is symbolic of
man in the totality of his work.
